Comfort Keepers is now offering families quality in-home care for their loved ones on Daniel Island, in addition to Johns Island, Hanahan, Moncks Corner, Ladson and Goose Creek. Services are provided out of the company’s main office in Summerville. Comfort Keepers promotes independence and helps maintain quality of life for hundreds of area seniors, allowing them to age comfortably and with dignity in their own homes.
“What makes us different is that as a young teen I started my career as an aide, growing up around seniors as my grandmother owned a small retirement home,” stated Teresa Nix, president and co-owner of Comfort Keepers of Summerville. “I had a love for seniors…It is a true blessing to grow up and know from an early age that you wanted to always be in the senior care field.”
The company is licensed in South Carolina and employees must go through a variety of screenings, such as background checks and drug testing. The Summerville location is independently owned and takes “great pride in providing quality, reliable, customized care,” added Nix. For more information, call (843) 934-2754.
