DANIEL ISLAND DOMINO'S PIZZA COMING SOON!

It’s no longer a “pie in the sky” idea. Domino’s Pizza franchise owners Kerri and Ben Saunders of Mount Pleasant have chosen Daniel Island for their newest location. They estimate the store will open sometime between May and June in the space beside Honeycomb Café in the Publix Shopping Center. Once the Daniel Island shop is up and running, the duo will have 18 Domino's in the Charleston area and another seven in Augusta, Georgia.

“Daniel Island was definitely high on the list,” said Kerri. “...We have many friends here who said ‘please open the store!’”

Kerri started her career as a pizza maker and driver in her native Australia at age 15. She became a store manager just two years later. Since then, she has built a successful entrepreneurial career with the Domino’s franchise, earning multiple awards over the years, including being named the “Domino’s Woman of the Year” in 2015. She and Ben are thrilled to enhance their Lowcountry Domino’s offerings with a store on Daniel Island. Kerri calls the new space a “sophisticated” location that will include dual entrances, indoor and outdoor seating, opportunities to watch pizza being made (and a children’s step chair for enhanced viewing), a pre-ordering app, and more.

“It’s going to be a pretty special store,” said Kerri. “This is a pretty big milestone for us. We can’t wait!”

Hiring is underway for the Daniel Island Domino’s, added Kerri, who noted that they will need approximately 20 local workers for the site. To inquire about a position, send an email to Julie Head at Julie.Head@lovesdominos.com.
