Dr. Alex Kusek joins River Landing Dentistry
River Landing Dentistry continues its growth with the addition of Dr. Alex Kusek, who recently joined the practice.
“I am originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and my wife, Gabrielle, and I desired a warmer, more active climate. We chose wonderful Charleston and the Daniel Island community to live and raise our family in,” Kusek said. “I earned my dental degree from the University of Nebraska Medical College, and I have worked in private practice with my father since graduation.”
Dr. Kusek brings to the practice the ability to perform IV sedation for general and advanced dental treatments, which allows the most fearful patient to receive optimal dental care, a press release explained. He also has advanced training in dental implants and performs a wide array of surgical procedures.
Dr. Kusek said, “My passion lies in utilizing digital technologies and advanced training to provide patients with consistently high-level dental care while developing a trusting and comfortable patient experience,”
Dr. Zechmann said, “It has always been the long-term vision of the practice to have multiple providers in one location for the Daniel Island community. With the addition of Dr. Kusek, this vision has come to fruition.”

Oak Capital Advisors Relocates To Accommodate Growth
Oak Capital Advisors, LLC, — a Daniel Island-based independent, fee-only firm, specializing in financial planning and wealth management — has relocated its corporate headquarters to Suite 160 in the First Citizens Bank Plaza. Located at 126 Seven Farms Drive, the new office is designed to accommodate growth and enable the company to continue building its team.
Oak Capital Advisors was launched in October 2013 by Brett Fellows, CFP, to provide a place for professionals and small business owners to receive objective, conflict-free financial advice. Fellows founded the company after years of working as a financial advisor at MassMutual and a privately-owned firm in Boston, according to a press release.
“We’re expanding our office space to more than five times the original size,” said Fellows. “We are in an exciting growth period and I am personally looking forward to now having the necessary space to continue building our team to better service our clients.”
