JACKSONBUILT CUSTOM HOMES RECEIVES THREE PRISM AWARDS

Daniel Island-based JacksonBuilt Custom Homes was awarded three PRISM Awards by the Charleston Home Builders Association at its awards ceremony earlier this month. JacksonBuilt was honored in the categories of Magazine Ad, Product Brochure and Best Single-Family Home.

Originated in 1988, the PRISM Awards recognize excellence in the marketing and promotion of new homes and in various segments of the housing industry, including the outstanding work of custom builders, remodelers, contractors, and home sales representatives.

For its award-winning magazine ad, JacksonBuilt worked with Charleston-based Obviouslee Marketing to create a new ad series featuring JacksonBuilt clients enjoying their home. The ads were designed to showcase the quality of JacksonBuilt’s work while infusing personality and storytelling.

In the category of product brochure, JacksonBuilt was honored for creating a new way to present its house plans. Local artist Dale Watson created renderings in a welcoming illustration rather than a computer-generated house plan. Each drawing was accompanied by a narrative about each plan and the thought behind the design.

The third PRISM Award was for the best Single-Family Home in the $2.5 million to $2,999,000 range. The winning Daniel Island house spans more than 4,000 square feet and has a vaulted kitchen with cement tile wall, vent hood with white oak accent, unique millwork, and fully integrated Thermador refrigerator and freezer. The home has an eye-catching black and white mosaic tile wall in the powder room with floating white oak vanity and wall-mount faucet. The vaulted rear porch has an outdoor fireplace, cable railing and views of the Wando River. Additional features include custom aluminum interior handrails and a vaulted hallway on second floor as well as a ground-level outdoor living area with pool.

According to a press release, “JacksonBuilt Custom Homes is committed to and takes great pride in a hands-on approach to creating outstanding client relationships during the build process.” Founded in 2009, the company builds custom homes primarily on Daniel Island and in Mount Pleasant, S.C. and focuses heavily on the client experience and personal attention. The company motto, “Design Smart, Build Beautiful,” reflects its process of working with the architect from the beginning to create a home that reflects the homeowners’ needs while making the best use of the space and allotted budget, stated the release. For more information, visit www.jacksonbuilthomes.com.
