DI Exchange Club awards $2K to children’s advocacy groups

On July 26, the Exchange Club of Daniel Island awarded $2,000 to three charities serving children at risk as part of the organization’s focus on youth. Presenting the checks is Exchange Club member Donna Mauerhan (center) and receiving the checks are Gordon Robertson (second from left) from Dee Norton Child Advocacy, Kristen Moir (second from right) from Darkness 2 Light, and Lamar Mowatt (far right) from Humanities Foundation. The Exchange Club focuses on family, patriotism and youth. Meetings are the fourth Tuesday every month at the Daniel Pointe Retirement Community and all are welcome.
