Thomas & Hutton hires two new in Civil Department

Thomas & Hutton announced two new hires in its Charleston Region in its Civil Department are project engineer and designer. 
 
Preston Ackerman joined the company as a project engineer. He brings over 10 years of experience in land development including transportation, commercial, and residential projects to his role. Ackerman graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. As a project engineer, Ackerman’s responsibilities include the design and management of single-family residential projects. He is currently working on multiple projects within Cane Bay Subdivision in Berkeley County.
 
Harrison Griffith, designer, graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a bachelor of science in civil and environmental engineering. While in school, he worked as an intern for ECS Limited in the construction materials department. As a designer, Griffith’s responsibilities include designing and permitting single-family residential developments in the tri-county area. He is currently working on various subdivisions throughout Berkeley County.
