Historical Treasures of Cainhoy
Join the Daniel Island Historical Society on Tues. Mar. 21 for a presentation on “The Historical Treasures of Cainhoy.” The program, free and open to the public, will begin at 7 pm at Daniel Island’s Holy Cross Church, located at 299 Seven Farms Drive. Serving as guest speakers will be lifelong Cainhoy Peninsula residents and community leaders Fred Lincoln and MaeRe Skinner. The Skinner and Lincoln families have been intertwined for more than 20 years – raising public awareness of the historic and cultural treasures of Cainhoy and ensuring that they are honored and preserved. A celebratory reception will be held immediately following the program in recognition of the DI Historical Society’s 5th Anniversary!
