BCSD unveils proposed attendance lines for new Philip Simmons Schools

Berkeley County School District held two community drop-ins, the first on September 10 at Cainhoy Elementary/Middle School and the second on September 14 at Daniel Island School, to introduce Daniel Island/Cainhoy area families to the attendance zones proposed for the new Philip Simmons Elementary/Middle and High Schools. The K-8 school will welcome students in August 2016, and the high school is projected to open in August 2017. Community members had the opportunity at both drop-ins to ask questions of school leaders and submit comment cards.
