The best catch of all!

Summer is a time for fishing with family and friends. With school being out of session, children have more time to fish and have fun. So, gather your family and take them fishing. That is exactly what John McLure did last week. John gathered his son, Bates, uncle Rob Bates, and cousin Rheney Bates for a family fishing adventure on Edisto Island.

John took the family to a dock (that he knew held a resident Redfish population). He then had Bates, uncle Rob and cousin Rheney cast GULP minnows on quarter ounce jigs near the dock pilings. It did not take very long for Bates to catch his best Redfish ever! More importantly, Bates caught a family memory - which is the best catch of all.
