City of Charleston Technical Review Committee (TRC) – Next meeting to take place July 13. Agenda published – two items of impact to Daniel Island. (1) Parcel L – subdivision concept plan for a five lot subdivision. (2) Parcel J-2 – subdivision concept plan for a four lot subdivision.
City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Site Design (BZA-SD) - Next meeting to take place August 2. Agenda not yet published.
City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Zoning (BZA-Z) - Next meeting to take place July 18. Agenda published – one item of impact to Daniel Island: 1942 Bellona Street - Request variance from Sec. 54-283 (Daniel Island Master Plan) to allow a HVAC platform with a 1.3-ft side setback (3-ft. required). Zoned DI-R. Owners-Wateroak Land Holdings, Shelter, LLC. Applicant - Adam Johnson.
City of Charleston Design Review Board (DRB) - Next meeting to take place July 17. Agenda published – no issues of impact to Daniel Island.
City of Charleston Planning Commission - Next meeting to take place July 19. Agenda published – three items of impact to Daniel Island. (1) Approval of a subdivision concept plan for Fairbanks Drive (TMS #2710000010 & 12) – 1.68 acres – 90 lots – zoned DI-GO. (2) Approval of the preliminary subdivision plat for Farr Street (TMS #2750000118 & 182) – 21.1 acres – 3 lots – zoned DI-R. (3) Approval of the preliminary subdivision plat for Village Crossing Drive (TMS 2750000203) – 7.6 acres – 17 lots – zoned DI-R.
