Land use and zoning activities on Daniel Island
These are the issues being brought before the various City of Charleston boards and committees that are specific to land use and zoning on Daniel Island. City of Charleston Technical Review Committee (TRC) — At the July 5 meeting, minor comments were given for the road construction plans for a 20-lot subdivision on Dunham Street. Once it receives in-house approval, it will go to the City of Charleston’s engineering department for stamping. The next meeting will be held on July 12 with no issues of impact to Daniel Island on the agenda.
City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Site Design (BZA-SD) — The next meeting will be August 1. The agenda is not yet published.
City of Charleston Board of Zoning Appeals – Zoning (BZA-Z) — The next meeting will be held on July 17 with no issues of impact to Daniel Island on the agenda.
City of Charleston Design Review Board (DRB) — The next meeting will be held on July 12. On the agenda is the conceptual approval for the construction of Saint Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, administration, and classroom buildings on Daniel Island.
City of Charleston Planning Commission (PC) — The next meeting will be held on July 18. The agenda is not yet published.
