Last week’s Mystery Photo Contest winner is Daniel Island resident Kate Tomas, one of several participants to correctly identify the subject in the photo as the playground at Governors Park. Kate was selected in a random tie-breaker.
“I’ve seen it a lot,” noted Kate, of the playground area. “My dad and I go to Governors Park to play soccer!”
Kate is in sixth grade at Christ Our King – Stella Maris School and plays soccer for the Daniel Island Soccer Academy (DISA). She moved to the island with her family a little over a year ago from Michigan. This was Kate’s first time entering the Mystery Photo Contest. She selected a gift card from Blondie’s Bagels & Café as her prize.
