Mystery Photo Contest - December 19, 2019

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest is Daniel Island resident Ralph Hodosh, who correctly identified last week’s photo as the large Hanukkah menorah located by the entrance of Volvo Car Stadium. He was the only one who guessed correctly!

Ralph, who is retired from full-time work, said he and his wife, Cynthia, moved from a far northern suburb of Chicago, Libertyville, to Daniel Island in August. While they are enjoying the weather during their first winter in South Carolina, the two joked that they never realized there would be so many Northern transplants here, and Daniel Island is almost like “the sixth burrough of New York.”

This is Ralph’s first time playing the mystery photo contest. “My wife and I were told there is going to be a Hanukkah celebration later this month, so I expected the menorah to be there and saw that it is there,” he explained.

The couple chose a gift card to Revive Yoga as their prize.
