Mystery Photo Contest - December 26, 2019

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest is Daniel Island resident Rich Young, who correctly identified the picture as the paddle board and kayak lockers at Bellinger Island on Beresford Creek. He was selected in a random tie-breaker, as many readers responded with right answers.

Young, who has lived on Daniel Island for nearly 11 years, works for a software and services company based in Chicago. He said he doesn’t visit the area in the photo too often, but he recalled it from the last time he rented paddle boards. “I have a great memory!” Young replied, which helped him guess the subject in the mystery photo.

This was his second time entering the contest; Young said he first participated only a few weeks ago.
