Mystery Photo Contest - January 16, 2020

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest is Daniel Island resident Savannah Oberly, who correctly identified the picture as the sundial compass at Children’s Park.

Savannah, a Kindergartener at Daniel Island School, has lived on the island for four years, according to her mom, Courtney Oberly. One activity she likes to do is to learn about the Bible.

When asked how she was able to guess the subject in the mystery photo, Savannah said, “My siblings help me remember that the compass is at Children’s Park. We go there a lot because my dad’s office is by Children’s Park.”

The Oberlys are certainly very attentive when it comes to island landmarks, as family members won the contest multiple times last year. Savannah said she played a lot during the summer and correctly identified the mystery photo in August.
