The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest from Jan. 19 is Brian Moran. He correctly identified the picture as the water fountain on the back side of Philip Simmons Park.
Moran lives on Daniel Island with his wife Mary. They are both parishoners at St. Clare.
“While we bought our condo in 2017, we only moved down permanently last year. I just retired after practicing law as a litigator for over 40 years in Connecticut and NYC,” Moran wrote via email.
“We love not just the weather, but how friendly folks are on the island, as well as the mix of both native South Carolinians and transplants,” Moran added. “The proximity of downtown is wonderful. I enjoy the history of the area, walking tours, local theater, playing golf with new buddies and, of course, the local cuisine.”
