Mystery Photo Contest - November 21, 2019

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest is Daniel Island resident Lorraine O’Halloran — one of multiple participants to correctly identify last week’s photo as the spiral staircase behind the local bridal shop, White on Daniel Island. She was selected in a random tie-breaker.

Lorraine, who moved to Daniel Island from Boston last May, said she has entered the contest several times but this was her first win.

“I usually pick up a copy of the paper on Wednesday morning and turn to the back pages immediately to see if I can recognize the mystery photo,” she said. “This particular photo I recognized because I pass this area on my daily run or walk.”

She added, “My husband and I are retired and truly look forward to the Daniel Island newspaper every week.”
