Mystery Photo Contest - September 23, 2021

The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest from the Sept. 16 edition is Madeline Mester, who correctly identified the picture as part of a banner flag hanging from a street light that reads “Guggenheim Terrace,” located along Island Park Drive on Daniel Island.
The second grader at Daniel Island School is in Ms. Woodis’ class. She and her family have lived near Smythe Lake for almost five years.
How was she able to identify the mystery photo? She said, “We recently rode our bikes to the night market to get ice cream and saw it then.”
When it comes to life on Daniel Island, Madeline said, “I like that everyone is nice, and I have a lot of friends to play with here.” She also likes to swim for SCSC.
This was Madeline’s first time winning, but her brother Ethan has won before.
