DI Library Book Club
Tuesdays 10:30-11:30, 3rd Tuesday of the month, Mar 15, April 19, May 17. Be part of a lively discussion about some popular and chat worthy books. Was it a thumbs up or thumbs down? Come share your thoughts. February 16- Flight Behavior, Barbara Kingsolver; March 15- Boston Girl, Anita Diamant. Copies of each book will be available at the circulation desk monthly. Please preregister due to limited space.

LEGO Mania
Imagine, create and build with LEGO blocks provided by the library. This program is designed for kids 8-11, but parents are free to join in the fun. Wednesday, February 17, 3:30-4:30

NEW WALKIE-TALKIE BOOK CLUB
Fridays, starting March 4th, 9-10 am, 6 weeks. Walk and talk with others about your past, present or favorite reads, along with a library staff member, during a morning stroll on our beautiful Daniel Island trails. Put on your sneakers and meet in the library parking lot, weather permitting.

NEW GENEALOGY BASICS
Monday, March 7th, 1-2 pm. Interested in digging into your family roots? Learn how to begin collecting ancestor information and researching on the internet with a member of the Family History Center of Charleston.

NEW DOWNTON ABBEY TEA
Saturday, March 12th, 3-4 pm. Come celebrate the end of the Downton Abbey TV series with games, scones, and tea of course. Please bring your own proper tea cup and saucer. Space is limited, please pick up or call for your personal invitation to attend.

NEW TWEEN BOOKCLUB
March 21, 4-5 pm. Have fun meeting with friends and discussing the latest book popular among tweens. The Thing About Jellyfish, by Ali Benjamin. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk.

NEW TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOPS
Tuesday, March 29th, 11-12:30 Mobile Resources. Learn more about using our library resources and collections with your personal devices. All attendees are encouraged to bring their own mobile devices. Registration required

TEEN HANGOUT
Monday, March 7th, 3:30-4:30. Teens are free to join us at the library for a unique teen program doing what they want to do each month. It’s a fun time with snacks, crafts, games and more.

WRITER’S GROUP
Every 1st Tuesday 6:30-8 pm. Join local author, Crystal Klimavicz, at the Daniel Island Library to connect and share with other local authors and aspiring writers. All are welcome.

DI NEEDLEWORKERS
Alternate Tuesdays 11-2 pm. From experts to beginners, join in the fun on Tuesday mornings. Bring your quilt, applique, embroidery, or any portable needle project and stay for a while to sew, make new friends and chat.

ZEN COLORING
Relax and enjoy the latest rage, coloring for adults. Color away your problems and feel the positive energy flow as you create your own masterpiece. All supplies provided. Thursdays 10:30-11:30, 2/4-4/28.
