Proxies needed for annual DI community meetings

The annual Daniel Island Community and Park Association meetings are informational only meetings. There are no issues to vote on at the meetings. In advance of the meetings, the individual association boards approve association budgets.

The Daniel Island Park Association (DIPA) meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in Daniel Island Club ballroom. DIPA is comprised of property owners who own property in Daniel Island Park.

The Daniel Island Community Association (DICA) meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the Church of the Holy Cross on Daniel Island. DICA is comprised of property owners who own property in the Codner’s Ferry Park, Cochran Park, Center Park, Edgefield Park, Pierce Park, Barfield Park, Smythe Park, and Etiwan Park neighborhoods.

Per the Daniel Island Property Owners Association’s governing documents, in order to hold informational only annual meetings, a 10 percent quorum must be met. Should you be unable to attend your respective association’s meeting, please complete a proxy by visiting the POA website at www.dicommunity.org. A paper version of the proxy is available at the POA office for those who prefer not to complete one online. The POA office is located at 130 River Landing Drive, Suite 1C.

Please note: If you own properties in both DICA and DIPA, please fill out both forms. One proxy per property please.
