Daniel Island Boy Scout Edward Snyder, a junior at Bishop England High School, led a collection drive for the Lowcountry Food Bank on Daniel Island on May 6 as part of his Eagle Scout project. A member of Daniel Island-Based Troop 519, Snyder and a group of 11 of his fellow scouts, four high school volunteer students, and seven adult volunteers collected over 1,200 items and $325 for the cause.
