What's happening this month at the Daniel Island Library?

PUZZLED? January is National Puzzle Month. During the month of January the library will have a large jigsaw puzzle ready to be pieced together by one and all. When a puzzle is completed another, perhaps more challenging, will replace it. Stop by as often as you like and be part of the fun.

NEW ZEN COLORING Relax and enjoy the latest rage, coloring for adults. Color away your problems and feel the positive energy flow as you create your own masterpiece. All supplies provided. Thursday 10:30-11:30 a.m., Jan. 14th-Feb 25th

NEW Daniel Island Book Club Tuesday 10:30-11:30 a.m., 3rd Tuesday of the month, Feb. 16, Mar. 15, April 19, May 17. Be part of a lively discussion about some popular and chat worthy books. Was it a thumbs up or thumbs down? Come share your thoughts. February 16- Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver; March 15- Boston Girl by Anita Diamant; April 19- Inside the O’Briens by Lisa Genova; May 17- Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.Copies of each book will be available at the circulation desk monthly. Please preregister due to limited space.

DI Needle Workers Alternate Tuesdays 10-2, starting January 12th. From experts to beginners, join in the fun on Tuesday mornings. Bring your quilt, applique, embroidery, or any portable needle project and stay for a while to sew, make new friends and chat.

LEGO Mania Imagine, create and build with LEGO blocks provided by the library. This program is designed for kids 8-11, but parents are free to join in the fun. Wednesday, February 17, 3:30-4:30.
