Morgan Stanley Opens Daniel Island Office

Morgan Stanley recently announced plants to open a new office on Daniel Island at 230 Seven Farms Drive, Suite 102. The new office will open Sept. 12. Steven J. Meyer will manage the office.

Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, investment management and credit services. With more than 600 offices in 28 countries, Morgan Stanley connects people, ideas and capital to help clients achieve their financial aspirations.

In addition to being managed by Steven Meyer, longtime island resident Mac McBride, together with Greg Hollingsworth, will staff the office.

McBride said that he is pleased to be able to provide the whole realm of Morgan Stanley resources to Daniel Island, "What we do in London and Manhattan we now offer here on Daniel Island." The group chose Daniel Island as its Charleston location because of its easy accessibility to West Ashley, downtown, Mt. Pleasant and the north area.

"We will focus on estate planning, financial planning, professionally managed money, comprehensive wealth management and estate transfers," McBride added.

Matt Sloan, COO of The Daniel Island Company welcomed the firm, "Morgan Stanley is a marquis addition to Daniel Island."
