One last push for year-end giving

There’s still money on the table, but time is running out! A 2018 matching grant program of the Daniel Island Community Foundation for a select group of charities ends on Dec. 31. Any donations made to the non-profits, which were selected by a Daniel Island resident advisory committee, will be matched by the DICF up to $5000. East Cooper Meals on Wheels, Lowcountry Food Bank, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Darkness to Light, Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, Daniel Island School PTA, and East Cooper Land Trust have not yet reached their goals. As of Dec. 10, the contribution totals were as follows:

East Cooper Meals on Wheels - $1,700

East Cooper Community Outreach -  GOAL REACHED

Lowcountry Food Bank - $1,450

Sustainability Institute - GOAL REACHED

Lowcountry Orphan Relief - $1,375

Darkness to Light - $100

Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center - $920

Daniel Island School PTA - $100

Philip Simmons High School PTA - GOAL REACHED

Reading Partners - GOAL REACHED

Water Missions International - GOAL REACHED

East Cooper Land Trust - $2,320
