Vote in Democratic Presidential Primary on Saturday, Feb. 29

The Democratic Presidential Preference Primary will be held on Saturday, Feb. 29, throughout South Carolina. All Daniel Islanders, in precincts 1-4, will vote at Daniel Island School. Cainhoy precinct will vote at Cainhoy Elementary School. The Village and Yellow House precincts will vote at Philip Simmons Elementary School. If you are unsure where to vote, visit the Berkeley County Department of Voter Registration and Elections online at https://berkeleycountysc.gov/dept/elections for a listing of polling places and a map of precincts.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Voters will be required to provide a photo ID at the polling place. The following are acceptable forms of identification: a South Carolina driver’s license, an ID card issued by the S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles, an S.C. voter registration card with photo, a federal military ID, or a U.S. passport.
In South Carolina, any registered voter may cast a ballot in either party’s primary election.
