April 2019 Real Estate Report

During the month of April, 25 homes sold on Daniel Island. Sales totaled $22,933,229. The most expensive home sold was on Dalton Street in Daniel Island Park for just under $2 million.

According to Renee Pote of Iron Gate Realty, the trend of higher priced home listings (especially over a million dollars) is increasing, but they tend to stay on the market a little longer than homes priced just below a million, which are moving more quickly.

“Over the past few years we are seeing an increase in the inventory of homes priced over a million dollars, but the number of sales for these homes remains fairly steady, which could mean that homes priced over a million are sitting a little longer than previous years. On Daniel Island, we are seeing sales increase slightly in the homes priced under a million dollars,” Pote noted.
