August 2018 Real Estate Report
Thirty six homes sold during the month of August. As of September 19, there were 173 homes for sale, with 111 active and 62 under contract. Total sales in August equaled $27,799,949.
The most expensive home purchased was in Daniel Island Park on Iron Bottom Lane. It sold for just over $1.5 million. The least expensive home sold was a condo on Bucksley Lane for $154,600.
According to Renee Reinert Pote with Iron Gate Realty, there was an upward trend when it comes to sales price this August compared to last August.
“In August 2017, 30 homes sold. Seven of the 30 properties sold for over $800,000,” states Pote. “This August, there were 36 homes that sold, with 14 properties over $800,000 mark.”
