December 2019 Real Estate Report

A total of 31 homes sold on Daniel Island in December 2019. As of Jan. 9, 2020, there were 125 homes for sale, with 79 being active and 43 under contract or pending. The total volume sold was $29,027,031.

Nine homes sold for more than one million dollars and three of them for more than two million dollars, which contributed to the high volume of sales for the month.

According to Renee Reinert Pote with Iron Gate Realty, real estate on Daniel Island, while slow through the holidays, looks to be strong during the spring months.

“In general, the showings were very quiet over the holidays but in recent discussions with several well respected seasoned Daniel Island real estate agents, it was agreed that we have seen a nice healthy increase in showings in the past few weeks. The general feeling is that we will see an increase in sales in the spring. This is only the opinion of several seasoned agents based on their experience in selling many years on Daniel Island. We look forward to another successful real estate year for Daniel Island!” she stated.
