November 2019 Real Estate Report

Twenty-two homes sold in November on Daniel Island. As of Dec. 13, 2019, there were 186 homes for sale, with 93 being active and 50 under contract or pending. The total volume sold in November was $18,646,574.

The most expensive home sold was a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home on Ithecaw Creek Street in Daniel Island Park that sold for $1.6 million. The least expensive home sold was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo on Pier View Street, which sold for $315,000.

According to Hayden Jennings of Hayden Jennings Properties, real estate sales are typically a bit slower in November as buyers are focused on the holiday season. He notes, though, that sales of single family homes are moving faster than condos.

“Single family homes have been on the market on average about 55 days. This sharply contrasts with condos, which are averaging 251 days on the market.”
