October 2019 Real Estate Report
In October, 24 homes sold. As of Nov. 9, 2019, there were 168 homes for sale, with 115 active and 53 under contract or pending. The total volume sold was $16,615,825.
The most expensive home sold was a waterfront home on Smythe Street in Smythe Park. It sold for $2.6 million. The least expensive home sold was a 638-square-foot condo on River Landing Drive, which sold for $149,900.
Renee Reinert Pote with Iron Gate Realty sees a common trend with the October sales — a slowdown.
“The number of showings seem to be slower during this time of the year, however this year they seem to be extra slow. When comparing last year sales beginning from January 2018-October 2018 and then compare this year in the same period of time, we find that last year there were more homes sold indicating a decrease in sales. However, the month of October itself had a higher increase this year compared to last year,” stated Pote.
