BE girls JV tennis team wins state championship!

The Bishop England girls junior varsity tennis team had an excellent 8-1 season, and then proceeded to have some great matches and wins against some of the other top JV teams around the state. The team worked very hard, often competing against local varsity teams to improve, and it really paid off at the Cayce Center tournament on the weekend of Oct.12-13.

Head Coach Jim Greenho and Assistant Coach Grace Carruthers guided the talented athletes, while team manager Kristin Hubbard and local tennis professional Lisa Gnann also worked hard to help the squad.
