Bishop England golfers selected to play in tournament

Bishop England golfers Ben Burton and Jamie Wilson were selected to play in the North-South All Star tournament in Myrtle Beach.
They helped the South team win for the first time in nearly a decade. Both players had key roles in the Bishops’ state runners-up finish n Class AA.
Burton finished second overall at the state meet, shooting a 1-over 145. Wilson, a defending two-time state champ, finished third this spring was one stroke behind Burton at 146 to claim third at the state match.
Burton and Wilson also were among 10 Class AA golfers to earn all-state honors.
