Cainhoy Warriors capture Charleston Spring Shootout title!

It was a fight to the finish for the Cainhoy Warriors U10 team, who took home the top prize in the Charleston Spring Shootout March 17-18 after winning the final game in a penalty shootout. The team is part of the Cainhoy Athletic Soccer Club.

According to Coach Chris Barclay, during the final match-up, Bradley Rillo scored for the Warriors towards the end of the first half. Their opponent, USA/MP Dynamo, tied the game 1-1 halfway through the second half. The game then went into a penalty shootout to determine the champion. Ryan Barclay scored for the Cainhoy Warriors in the shootout. Goalie Will Torykian saved all five of the opponents’ shots, and the Warriors won 1-0.
