Daniel Island's Smith brothers hit No. 1!

This past summer, Daniel Island residents Max Smith and his brother, Jake, hit pretty significant tennis milestones in their respective age groups. Max was ranked No. 1 in South Carolina in the 14 and under age division and Jake was ranked No. 1 in the 12 and under age division. Both train full time at the High Performance Academy at MW Academy, based out of the Family Circle Tennis Center on Daniel Island. Max and Jake have been coached by Brian Minton at MW Academy since they started playing five years ago. Max has since bumped up to the 16 and under age division.
