Jeff Caldwell beats Colby Hollifield, wins gift card to Mpishi

“Having had better success in prior years, it seems the talent pool of Daniel Island News participants has significantly improved since 2017,” said Jeff Caldwell, winner of this week’s Pigskin Pick ’Em. “It is tough to win these days.”
“This is a fun format and a wonderful newspaper running it,” wrote Caldwell via email. “The Daniel Island News readers greatly appreciate the local community business sponsors and especially the newspaper and all their staff.”
Caldwell’s NFL division round 10-2 cinched his win over sponsor Colby Hollifield, who went 6-6. He won on the tiebreaker against other fierce competitors.
Caldwell and his wife Joan moved to Daniel Island more than five years ago.
