Ray Uptegrove beats Atlantic Properties, wins $50 gift card to Dockery’s

Ray Uptegrove is this week’s winner of the Pig Skin Pick-‘Em. He was tied with two other contestants at 10-2 but won the point spread tiebreaker to beat Atlantic Properties and earn the $50 gift card to Dockery’s.

Ray said via email, “I was surprised when I won last year, and it is even more of a surprise this time. I enjoy watching games on TV, but I do not keep informed about many of the teams. At least half of my picks were guesses.”

Ray moved from Hanahan to Daniel Island with his wife Kay three years ago. He is a graduate of NC State and retired in 2003 after a 40-year career at the North Charleston Paper Mill.

Ray added, “I look forward to the Daniel Island News each week.”
