Rona wins again, but sponsor and friend Cara Schaafsma is better at 11-1

This week’s winner of the Pigskin Challenge is Rona Bobey of Daniel Island. This is Rona’s second win of the year and she was one of two people to beat this week’s sponsor, the Brookes family and South State Bank Mortgage, who went 9-3. Rona was 10-2.

The best sponsor of the week was Cara Schaafsma, who went 11-1. Rona said, “I guess my friends and family can expect gift cards for Christmas! I’m looking into going to Vegas next! Maybe we should have a basketball picks too, or at least March Madness picks - I have been a basketball fan much longer than football!”

Each week from now until the Super Bowl, readers will be given the opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor” and to win great prizes.
