Thomas Moyer beats Cara Schaafsma, wins $50 gift card to Vespa

Thomas Moyer was not the only person to beat Cara Schaafsma of Carolina One Real Estate by two points, but he won the tiebreaker by picking Georgia with a score of 24-21 to claim victory in last week’s Pigskin Pick’em Football Contest.

A retired engineer, Thomas enjoys traveling and gardening. He and his wife moved to Daniel Island from the “frigid north” six years ago.

“I follow football and love to try picking the winners,” said Thomas via email. “It’s best to just go with instincts when picking.”
