World Affairs Council

The last meeting of the season for the World Affairs Council of Charleston will be held on May 16, from 5:15 to 8 pm at The Citadel Alumni Center, 69 Hagood Avenue in downtown Charleston. This month’s program is entitled “Seven deadly threats to the United States – and what to do about them.” Serving as guest speaker will be Col. (Ret) Joseph J. Collins, a senior Pentagon official, distinguished scholar, author of books focusing on national security issues, and an active duty Army officer for 28 years. www.waccharleston.org.
