On Monday, Dec. 11, the World Affairs Council of Charleston will present “Russia and the Baltic countries: Anxieties mount as Putin steps up pressure and NATO and the U.S. deploy military forces.” The event will be held at the Citadel Alumni Center, 69 Hagood Avenue in downtown Charleston. Reception at 5:15 pm and program at 6 pm. Guest speaker will be Jon Gundersen, WACC member and former Acting U.S. Ambassador in Ukraine, Estonia, Iceland and Norway.
