The businesses located at 230 Seven Farms Drive hold down one corner of Daniel Island’s most prominent four-way intersections. Built in 2000 and renovated in 2018, the two-story building holds approximately 20,000 square feet of office and retail space and is named after one of its tenants.
Inside the Synovus Center building is Synovus Bank, a mid-cap bank that provides basic banking to financial planning. The company website notes that Synovus employees are in the business to create lasting relationships by gaining a deep understanding of clients’ personal or business objectives.
“From…financing modern corporate expansions to cheering for the hometown football team every Friday night, we’ve always been proud to be part of our community,” the Synovus site says.
Home Telecom provides internet and internet-powered solutions over a fiber-rich network to Berkeley County and portions of Dorchester and Charleston counties. With the purchase of Daniel Island Media in 2004, Home Telecom became one of the first telecoms in the nation to maintain and deploy fiber-to-the-home technology.
Caoimhe Zett, the company’s marketing supervisor, says Home Telecom provides blazing fast internet for Daniel Island residents with app-based video, 24/7 security monitoring, home automation and telephone service. According to Zett, they are the only local provider offering fiber-to-the-home services and delivering speeds up to two gigabits per second.
“The people in this community are remarkable and we want to see them thrive,” Zett said. “By listening to our customers and being able to exceed the needs of the community, we are able to give customers the tools to succeed at home and in the office.”

Elevate Community School occupies the second floor of the Synovus Center building, offering a private school education. Founded in 2020, Elevate brings a progressive education model to the Lowcountry with Montessori-inspired curriculum. The school currently serves students ages 5 to 12, with plans to serve students up to age 14 by 2024.
With a focus on kindness and community, the school’s mission is to teach students how to be respectful citizens of the world. Stefanie Swackhamer, executive director of Elevate Community School, explains the benefits of the school’s location: “Daniel Island’s natural surroundings are a huge reason why we love our school location. Our students spend at least 10 hours a week outside, rain or shine, so having immediate access to the trails, beaches and parks is an essential part of what makes our school unique.”
