The winner of the Mystery Photo Contest from March 16 is Jim Wasson, who correctly identified the picture as the stained-glass windows at St. Clare of Assisi.
Wasson and wife, Evelyn, purchased property on Daniel Island in 2008 and moved here in 2010 from Binghamton, New York after working much of his career as an aircraft mechanic, avionics engineer, program manager and an executive at several major aerospace and defense companies, including Northrop, Boeing and GE.
“We chose to live on Daniel Island because of its aesthetics, cleanliness, low crime rate, abundance of amenities and its proximity to the airport and downtown Charleston,” Wasson said. “We are members of Saint Clare of Assisi parish.”
