Be mindful of speed limit
I have been visiting Daniel Island when it was a small demure town since 2009. I have seen its development over the years into a Metropolis. It’s time to remind all peace and quiet loving folks that have moved here, this town is a 25-mile per hour speed limit zone. There are also areas that are lesser than 25 mph speed limit. Also mindful: The vehicle in the roundabout has the right of way. Most vulnerable area lately I notice is Seven Farms Drive at the intersection crossing River Landing Drive where motorists exiting I-526 forget to lower their speed and rush to beat the lights. Be aware the rush hours are 7-10 a.m.; school dismissals 2-3:30 p.m. and the usual evening rush 4:30-7:30 p.m., getting home hustle bustle in all honor the speed limit. Best bet to start early and avoid the hot foot. You will be thankful in the long run.
