Barb Kaufman beats Ashley Severance, wins a Viva Tacos and Tequila gift card

Barb Kaufman won last week’s pick ‘em with 9-2 score, beating Ashley Severance with Atlantic Properties’ 8-3 score.  Several contestants tied with Barb but she pulled through with a tiebreaker win.

 

Barb is a former Pennsylvania resident who took early retirement in 2015 and moved to Daniel Island while her daughter was attending the College of Charleston. She spends her time now volunteering with Begin With Books (the local affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library), Happy Wheels at MUSC, and East Cooper Meals On Wheels. 

 

Barb was excited by her win. “Wow that is fantastic,” Barb said via email. “I’ve been playing Pigskin Pick’em for years because I’m a college football fanatic (even during my alma mater, Penn State’s, rough seasons) and love friendly competition!”
