Awesome Authors
The Daniel Island News Author Series kicked off last week at the Daniel Pointe Retirement Community. Daniel Island resident and experienced author Vijaya Bodach, left, spoke about her background as a scientist, her passion for helping other writers, and the inspiration for her novel "Bound." Pamela Brownstein discussed her recently published children's book, "Low-Ku: Haikus of the Lowcountry." Publisher Sue Detar was the moderator and facilitated a question and answer period after each speaker. Detar said she was pleased with the success of the event and was grateful for everyone who attended.
The next author series event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m.
