Bark in the Park sparks puppy love!
Funds were raised, dogs were adopted, and locals were entertained at The Daniel Island News’ fourth annual Bark in the Park.
Held at Waterfront Park on Nov. 2, the annual festival featured local vendors, K9 demonstrations, contests, education, music, dancing, and a frolicking good time!
Thanks to event sponsors – Daniel Island Community Fund, Daniel Island Animal Hospital, The Waterfront, Crescent Care Veterinary Clinic, Michael’s Barkery, Portside Veterinary Hospital, and Home Telecom – The Daniel Island News made a $2,500 donation to Berkeley County Animal Center.
Two dogs were adopted from the Berkeley County Animal Center and seven adoption applications were submitted to Southern Tails and Precious Paws rescue.
