Building to Building: 130 River Landing Drive

Halfway down River Landing Drive from Seven Farms Drive to Daniel Island’s scenic waterfront, groups of offices line the way on both sides of the road. Two of those buildings have been here since the island’s early days of development and that’s 130 River Landing Drive.

 

Built in 2001, the two buildings are home to a diverse group of businesses. 

 

843 Benefits and Health Marketplace is a customer service focused benefits and insurance agency that serves individuals and businesses throughout the Lowcountry. 

 

Owner Dave Williams explains that insurance is a very intangible yet personal part of anyone’s financial plan. He said, “We’ve built this business by being accessible and transparent and enjoy solving the insurance needs of our community.”

 

He continued, “Having a storefront on Daniel Island allows us to be face to face with the people we serve. So much of our world is done behind a computer screen these days, it’s nice to have the opportunity for face to face meetings, especially when the subject matter can be quite private or personal.”

 

Daniel Island Property Owners’ Association is the umbrella organization that manages all three Daniel Island Associations and their nonprofits, the Daniel Island Community Fund (DICF) and the Daniel Island Community Foundation. 

 

“The POA works hard to maintain property values by keeping the island beautiful and ensuring that everything we do improves the quality of life for all property owners,” said a POA spokesperson.

Daniel Island Chiropractic recently celebrated its 20th year on the island.
