SouthState Bank names Brookes top SC mortgage banker 7th year in a row
For the seventh consecutive year, Kevin Brookes, senior vice president and mortgage banker, earned “No. 1 Mortgage Loan Officer” in South Carolina at SouthState Bank.
The recognition comes as the result of an internal rating based on loan volume. In 2022, Brookes successfully closed more than 100 real estate transactions totaling nearly $110 million.
“I am so thankful for the team we have and the loan products we offer to be able to serve the community,” Brookes said. “We live in an amazing place where people desire to live, and I am blessed to be able to help clients make their dreams of home ownership in the Charleston community a reality.”
Brookes’ clients praise his experienced professionalism and outstanding service, and they often contact him again when in need of additional mortgage loans.
Located on Daniel Island, Brookes has 28 years of experience as a mortgage banker and specializes in jumbo loans, construction loans, lot loans, physician loans, refinances, renovation loans and assisting buyers with their first home purchase.
