Charleston Digital Corridor launches Tech Life Podcast

The Charleston Digital Corridor recently launched its Tech Life Podcast to highlight entrepreneurs who are driving Charleston’s tech community forward, along with the wide cast of leaders supporting high wage economic development, education, and workforce development.

Tech Life will be produced by podcast founder and producer Rich Conte. Leveraging this brand and the producer’s expertise will enable the Charleston Digital Corridor to quickly build an audience for the podcast.

“I’m excited to bring back the Tech Life Podcast in partnership with the CDC. Providing a platform for the Charleston technology and business communities to spotlight all the amazing work and thought leadership is a passion of mine,” Conte said. “Combining brands and resources, we can reach an even wider audience and make an even greater impact.”

Charleston Digital Corridor Director Ernest Andrade explained, “This podcast will provide yet another channel for engaging the CDC’s audience, which includes tech companies and employees operating in Charleston, companies considering relocation to our region, and tech and tech professionals considering moving to Charleston.”

Current sponsors include Charleston Open Source, Comcast, Charleston County Economic Development, South Carolina Research Authority, Carepoint, and CharlestonWorks — organizations and brands that align with the group’s focus on tech-focused economic development, innovation and leadership.

The first podcast episode features Blackbaud CIO Todd Lant talking about his role and the ongoing growth of Blackbaud and shares insights on the Charleston Technology community and the impact of remote work.
