Searching for ways to expand your business and network with others? Look no further than Daniel Island Prosperity Partners BNI, a collection of local professionals committed to growing their businesses.
DI Prosperity Partners is part of Business Network International, the world’s largest referral networking organization. BNI only allows one person per professional classification in each chapter, so there are no conflicts trying to attract the same business.
The Daniel Island chapter was started October 2018 by executive directors, Ron and Cristina Kirby. Ron Kirby served 32 years in the Marines and after retiring he found his new passion with BNI. “Once realizing that BNI is all about relationships and helping each other during tough times, (previous recession and the pandemic) I knew it was my calling.”
Ron explained, “As a BNI member, you are part of an exclusive network dedicated to helping grow your business. By building relationships with fellow chapter members, you will create a supportive network that will go beyond your chapter meetings.”
DI Prosperity Partners focuses on expanding networks effectively. “Membership helps people generate more sales with consistent growth, less effort, and lower costs than other marketing methods,” Christina said.
Brittany Perez is a financial services representative for MassMutual South Carolina and is also the vice president of the Daniel Island Prosperity Partners. After moving to Charleston, Perez wanted to find ways to grow her network.
“Daniel Island Prosperity Partners BNI helps me build a referral stream to be able to tap into other networks as I build my practice in Charleston,” Perez said. “It has also given me the opportunity to provide reputable resources to my clients when there is something they need. It is a network meeting with accountability and effectiveness unlike other networking groups I have visited.”
Dr. Rachel Wurdemann DC, owner of Sanctuary Blue: A Center for Optimal Living, has been with the organization for more than three years. “It has helped me in making impactful relationships with other business owners on Daniel Island and surrounding areas as well as supporting me in growing my business primarily through relationships and referrals rather than a high advertising budget.”
Wurdemann added, “Referrals through the DI Prosperity Partners help to build trust before I even meet with a new client. It is a great group for anyone who works in a business where word of mouth and referrals are key to your growth.”
After years of working as counsel for other law firms, Walter F. Harris, Esquire, of Harris Law Firm LLC, opened his own practice on Daniel Island. Harris said Daniel Island Prosperity Partners helped him attract new clients.
“I thought this would be a large obstacle to overcome but after some time not only did the BNI-DIPP chapter provide excellent referrals and law work, but also some really good friends too,” Harris said.
Harris said the organization on DI provides a real community. “If you are looking to grow your business, increase your sales and create a new network of referrals - while having some fun in the process - I cannot think of a better group than our local Daniel Island chapter of BNI.”
